In order to minimize the risks arising from the machines, carrying the CE Mark indicates that the machine complies with the basic health and safety requirements of the 2006/42/EC Machinery Regulation and that this machine can be sold within the countries where the Customs Union Agreement has been signed. The Machinery Directive covers machinery, interchangeable equipment, safety components, lifting aids, cutting equipment, machining machinery chains, ropes and belts, mechanical transmissions and partially completed machinery.
